Ronan's First Hibachi & Build-a-Bear

Over the weekend, we decided to take a day trip to Destin. There, Ronan had his first Build-a-Bear experience. We were so excited for him that we forgot to take pictures. I wish we had our camera when he first walked in the store. The expression on his face was priceless. He was grinning from ear to ear and the first thing he spotted was Kermit the Frog. So you guessed it...that's what he picked! The lady who worked there was very nice and made it a very special experience for him. He was so excited that he forgot that he was normally very shy with strangers. She asked him questions and he answered her. He picked out the squeaker box to put in the frog - of course he picked out the ribbet-ribbet sound. And he picked out the little heart to go into the frog. And then he stepped on the little pedal to turn on the machine to stuff the frog. After that, the lady asked him what he would name the frog and Ronan anserwed, "Kermie." And then he picked out some clothes for Kermie. Like father like son - Ronan picked out the Darth Vader outfit. So precious, I wish I would've caught it on video.

After that, we went to Osaka, a Japanese Hibachi restaurant. It was Ronan's first time at a hibachi restuarant. He took his Darth-Kermie in with him. He wasn't too sure about all the tricks that the chef was doing, especially when there was a big flame. But he didn't let that keep him from eating! Yum yum!

Playtime before bedtime!
