Ronan Shows off his Playset

Ronan's Uncle Danny and Auntie Susan came for a visit last night. He was shy at first, but in no time he was showing them his playset.

Ronan shows how the slide works by letting the bunny slides down first.

Now, it's Ronan's turn!

After he slides down, he goes and gives high-fives all around. Look at him give his Uncle Danny a big high five!

Now, a high-five for Auntie Susan!

Another high-five for Uncle Danny!

Ronan also liked telling the story of how he gets ready for night-night. First, he has a bath. Then Daddy reads him his stories. Daddy has to read all the Sandra Boynton books each night, so he knows the words by heart. Sometimes, Ronan reads along. Then it's prayer time. We start off with the Sign of the Cross, Our Father, Glory Be, Hail Mary, and Hail Holy Queen (all of the prayers in the Rosary). Then we say individual prayers, asking God's special blessings for our family, friends, priests/nuns and other church people. And a special prayer to God to ask Him to take care of Ronan's Grandma, especially in her battle with cancer. Then it's potty time. And then milkies from Mommy in the dark bedroom. And then Mommy sings The Hail Mary song. And he gets out one last burst of energy and giggles and then he goes to sleep. He loves to tell that story over and over and over again, doesn't he Uncle Danny and Auntie Susan?

After telling the stories, Ronan played in his fort with Mommy and Auntie Susan while Daddy and Uncle Danny loaded up the car with Auntie Susan's computer.

Before Uncle Danny and Auntie Susan left, Ronan gave them a big hug. What a good time we had! Thank you Uncle Danny and Auntie Susan for coming over and playing with Ronan! He sure loves you both! (And we do, too!)
